Community Gatherings

September 25:  The TS Alliance of Western PA hosts an educational Town Hall Meeting with Shelley Williams, M.D. and Kathryn McFadden, M.D. starting at 10:00 am.  Our fantastic speakers will provide an update on current research in TSC, an explanation of the clinical trial process and how to make informed decisions about participating in future clinical trials, as well as how basic research translates into clinical care.  Upcoming community activities will also be discussed.  Please click here for the flyer and RSVP information.

Success Stories

On June 26, 2010, the TS Alliance of Western Pennsylvania held the annual Step Forward to Cure TSC.  It was great day with more than 150 people participating in the walk and raising over $14,700 for research and family support programs. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped set up and run the walk and helped everything run smoothly.  A special thank you to walk chair Lori Shoup for her hard work, dedication and great success!

On April 18, 2010 the TS Alliance of Western PA hosted a bowling tournament. It was huge success with over 80 people coming together for a great cause.  Many thanks to Bill and Sharon Bibby and Jim Hartge to leading the way to another successful fundraiser for TSC and raising over $1000!
